Allen's Community Theatre seeks to entertain and enrich the cultural life of the community through a wide variety of challenging and creative theatrical experiences, that welcome all who wish to participate, help, or express themselves through theatre, both on and off stage.

ACT is excited to present our final play of the 2012-2013 season, The Dixie Swim Club by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, Jamie Wooten!

Spanning many years in the lives of five Southern women who have been best friends since they were on the same swim team in college, these fun-loving ladiesmeet up once a year in their favorite beach house to reconnect. And reconnecting for this bunch is always full of surprises. The show is directed by Janette Oswald, Column Award Nominee. ACT is again thrilled to perform at the historic Allen Christian Church located in Allen Heritage Village. The curtain goes up at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, April 26 and 27and May 3 and 4 with a bonus matinee on May 4th starting at 3 p.m.
