Michael Frayn's Noises Off takes a fond look at the follies of theatre folk, whose susceptibility to out-of-control egos, memory loss, and passionate affairs turn every performance into a high-risk adventure. This play-within-a-play captures a touring theatre troupe’s production of Nothing On in three stages: dress rehearsal, the opening performance, and a performance towards the end of a debilitating run. Frayne gives us a window into the inner workings of theatre behind the scenes, progressing from flubbed lines and missed cues in the dress rehearsal to mounting friction between cast members in the final performance. Brimming with slapstick comedy, Noises Off is a delightful backstage farce, complete with slamming doors, falling trousers, and -- of course -- flying sardines!

The Duke of Athens decrees that Hermia shall forsake Lysander in favour of her father's choice, Demetrius. The lovers elope into the woods, quickly followed by Demetrius and his love, Helena. The town tradesmen, meanwhile, rehearse a play in honour of the duke's betrothal to Hippolyta. Back in the forest, Titania, Queen of Fairies, quarrels with Penelope, who avenges herself by sending Puck away with a magic herb, which, dabbed on the eyes of a sleeping person, shall make the "victim" fall in love with the first person to appear after awakening. Soon, Lysander and Demetrius are smitten with the wrong girls and Titania has fallen in love with Bottom, the egotistical leader of the tradesmen, whom Puck has turned into an donkey. When Penelope discovers all this mischief, she lifts the spell and the wedding of the duke and Hippolyta can proceed.
YOUTH PRODUCTION The classic story of Aladdin, his monkey sidekick Alakazam, and the beautiful Princess Jasmine never fails to entertain young audiences. Evil magician Jammal tries to trick Aladdin in a malicious scheme to acquire a magical lamp containing a wish-granting genie. But Aladdin tricks Jammal and claims the magic lamp for himself, using its power to win the princess and impress the Sultan. But through another wicked ploy, Jammal regains possession of the lamp and kidnaps Jasmine! To set things right, Aladdin must face Chop-Chop, the merciless executioner. At last, Aladdin and Jasmine are reunited, and Jammal is transformed into a new person.
In October 1998, a twenty-one-year-old student at the University of Wyoming was kidnapped, severely beaten, and left tied to a fence in the middle of the prairie outside Laramie, Wyoming. His bloody, bruised, and battered body was not discovered until the next day, and he died several days later in an area hospital. His name was Matthew Shepard, and he was the victim of this assault because he was gay. Moisés Kaufman and fellow members of the Tectonic Theater Project made six trips to Laramie over the course of a year and a half, in the aftermath of the beating and during the trial of the two young men accused of killing Shepard. They conducted more than 200 interviews with the people of the town. Some people interviewed were directly connected to the case, while others were citizens of Laramie, and the breadth of the reactions to the crime is fascinating. Kaufman and Tectonic Theater members have constructed a deeply moving theatrical experience from these interviews and their own experiences in Laramie. Like a long heart-to-heart chat with a friend over coffee, Love, Loss and What I Wore will take you along for a poignant journey of recognition through the heartbreak and the joy of so many women’s shared experiences. The stories explore those experiences by way of women’s wardrobe, covering everything from the mortifications of bra-buying to poorly-chosen prom dresses, bad lighting in fitting rooms, finding the right boots and high heels, wearing short skirts, and that chronic and seemingly unavoidable conundrum — having nothing to wear.
These tales weave together with stories about personal relationships at different stages of life. There’s the disapproving mother who asks, “Is that what you’re wearing?”, the men who disappear for no known reason, and the sisters who’ve always got your back, no matter what. Love, Loss and What I Wore creates a tapestry of clothing-fuelled recollections, each revealing intimate truths about relationships that grow and stretch out over a lifetime – relationships with mothers, boyfriends, husbands, ex-husbands, sisters, daughters and grandchildren — everyone.
