MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP:
“5, 6, 7, 8”: How to survive a Musical Theatre Audition
Campers will get to experience different aspects of the theatre world, from acting to singing, to dancing. This camp will focus on audition skills including how to pick the right monologue or song for a role, what to do in an audition, and what to do when you get the part! While COVID may prevent our campers from performing live, they will each go home at the end of the week with their video of their performance.
TRIWIZARD TOURNAMENT CAMP:
Dive into the world of Harry Potter, get sorted into the Hogwarts Americana School of Magic houses, find your wand, test your skills at potion making, casting spells and prepare for the TriWizard Tournament. Will you get past the Whomping Willow, win a Quidditch match or perhaps be the TriWizard Champions?
SPACE WARRIOR CAMP:
Use the Force and join the Rebellion to help rid the galaxy from the clutches of the evil Empire! Come prepared to build your own lightsaber and practice dueling with your friends. Campers will also have daily activities and games where they will build droids, create their own galactic warrior name, and learn how to act out their very own scenes.
ISLAND ADVENTURE CAMP:
Campers will be divided into Tribes and compete to see who can outlast the others! Develop acting techniques and skills to compete each day. Campers will compete in challenges and meet for a Tribal Council every day where tribes will vote to see who loses points. Maybe you'll find the immunity idol and save your points that day.
GAME SHOW MANIA CAMP:
Do you love game shows, have a knack for trivia, enjoy a good challenge and have a competitive spirit? If so, you're going to love this camp! Each day campers will explore various gameshows and develop performance skills while going for the win! At the end of the week, campers will have developed, designed and built their very own gameshow! Don't be shy, step right up and beat the odds!
ACT’s Summer On Stage Staff have been trained upon and will enforce a detailed “Staff Safety Protocol” approved by the ACT Board of Directors outlining their obligations and responsibilities. This Staff Safety Protocol includes the continuous wearing of masks, the maintenance of a “safe social distance” of six feet at all times, the vigilance for signs of potentially unhealthy students or staff members and appropriate response, the on-going cleaning and sanitizing of all facilities, the wiping down of commonly-touched facilities on a regular schedule and other protocols consistent with the CDC’s recommendations for personnel and facilities for these purposes. A detailed safety protocol for campers and for staff will be available on our website soon.
Camps and Workshops run from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

We love our interns! They have lots of responsibilities that help develop their leadership skills and prepare them to be a future Assistant Teacher at ACT. Some of their duties include helping the teachers, cleaning up during and after camp, mentoring campers and a whole lot more. If you are interested in being an intern, please contact the Education Director at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please see the link below to print out the photo and liability release forms to bring to the theatre. ALL CAMPERS MUST HAVE THIS IN PLACE ON THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP.
YES! Please provide lunch for your camper each day. Please be aware that some people have allergies to nuts and should not be around nut-based products (like Peanut Butter). You are also encouraged to send a healthy snack with them each day, too.
Our Education Director will respond or contact you directly as quickly as is possible.
